It will remind you of warm macaroons straight from the oven. It is good enough to eat, but we recommend it as a superior moisturizer. Coconut oil is a natural butter. Use it liberally on your hands and feet. It is packed with nutrients that strengthen and protect your skin against damaging free radical formation. Coconut oil also promotes healing by penetrating the deeper layers of the skin to nurture underlying tissues. Many people enjoy coconut oil as a hair dressing. We don’t recommend coconut oil on your face because it may be comedogenic. At room temperatures coconut oil can switch between solid and liquid. It melts at 76°F. If you find it solid, just put the bottle in some warm water, or hold it in your hands a minute, or tuck it under the covers with you. Our coconut oil has no preservatives.
