Tea Soaps

Tea, Camellia sinensis, is a natural antiseptic, shielding us from sources of skin cancer, aging and inflammation by reducing free radicals. The antioxidant goodness of tea works whether you drink it or apply it to your skin. Green tea provides the beige tone in our Almond Green Tea and Tea Tree Green Tea soaps. We use black tea in our Chai Spice Luffa and Chai Spice.

Almond Green Tea tops our list of over 60 soap varieties, all exceptionally moisturizing, lathering, and long lasting. To create the rich, characteristic almond aroma of Almond Green Tea, we add to our base costly essential oil of bitter almond, prized for its marzipan scent. We do not use imitation almond flavoring.

Three different essential oils with the common name of tea tree combine to make this total tea tree bar. The blend of Australian tea tree (Melaleuca alternafolia) with kanuka (Kunzea ericoides) and manuka (Leptospermum scoparium), both from New Zealand, creates a pleasantly herbal aroma, somewhat reminiscent of leather. Tea tree oil is well recognized for its active role in skin care.
