We have taken our popular Biotherapy™ Skincare soap to new depths of cleansing by adding activated charcoal to the original formula. Because activated charcoal removes impurities, it can help reduce the instances of acne and other skin problems. It works wonders for thoroughly removing makeup. You can use it all over your body. The soap is pleasantly scented. It contains essential oils of tea tree, palmarosa, lavender, geranium, patchouli and vetiver, to balance your skin's oil production, whether you have dry or oily skin. It also contains finely ground oatmeal, though you won't see it. Oatmeal helps cleanse, soothe and moisturize your skin. The basis of our Brown Windsor soap comes from Perfumery and Kindred Arts, a Comprehensive Treatise on Perfumery by Richard Cristiani, published in Philadelphia in 1877. Even then, the author referred to the recipe as Old Brown Windsor Soap. The original soap was made in Windsor, England, and exported around the world. Brown Windsor was said to be a favorite of Napoleon, a notorious lover of scent. Cristianis recipe called for lavender, bergamot, caraway, petitgrain, cinnamon, and clove. We tested various proportions of these essential oils and chose the blend we found most satisfying.

You'll race to the shower to use our newest soap, Mojito. Named after the refreshing rum cocktail of spearmint and lime juice, this non-alcoholic bar will clean and invigorate you and your skin. Thanks to Blake, our soapmaker, for its creation. The scent comes from lime and spearmint essential oils perfectly balanced for a bracing summer treat. The moisturizer in Mojito is luxurious unrefined shea butter. French green clay combines with ground parsley to provide the bright green color and adds an extra creaminess to the lather. We rejoice in the effort to normalize relations between the U.S. and Cuba. If you get to visit, take some extra bars for the Cubanos. They'll certainly appreciate it.
