Patchouli Orange Soap

First you’ll pick up the scent of freshly squeezed Valencia oranges. That’s the volatile top note of the soap’s natural perfume, the initial fragrance that bursts forth. We pair the orange perfectly with base notes from dark, Indonesian patchouli. Mysterious and deep, patchouli lingers to sustain the satisfying experience of this soap.

We sold this bar for many years, and indeed it was popular, as Hemp Seed Oil soap. It was one of LaRee’s original recipes. However, the old name did not adequately describe the essential oil mix. We make it just the same, superfatted with plenty of hemp seed oil.

Hemp seed oil provides numerous skin friendly benefits. Non-greasy, it contains antioxidants, carotene, Vitamin E and a number of healthy minerals. It is common in many skin preparations because it is anti-inflammatory and promotes both good skin balance and healing support for skin irritations. That qualifies Patchouli Orange as one of our recommended bars for sensitive skin.
